"Will your School be World Class by the year 2000?"
On January 31, 1998 at Madras (Chennai), Tamil Nadu, India.
India, an ancient civilisation with a rich cultural and educational past,
has fallen behind in the 2nd Millennium and is itching to bounce back
in the 3rd Millennium. The very issues which were its problems viz.,
population and colonial past (which plundered away its wealth but
gave it strength in English), could be exploited as its strengths to
emerge as a strong economy and as a strong nation. At a Panel
Discussion, 5 eminent Panelists discuss as to how Indian School
Education system can become world class and contribute to the
re-emergence of India as a powerful Nation.
